Review: I think this might be my new favourite MZ book? This is a small town romance between a woman looking for a fresh start and her grumpy landlord. Aurora and Rhodes were just so perfect and I was left feeling so satisfied by the end. This story is filled with adventure and self-discovery and there was this one moment that had me sobbing in the bath (in the best way!). Rhodes was the total strong silent grump but he is all about action when it comes to feelings. He did the smallest things to help her out that just made her smile and I couldn’t get enough of it. And when he would burst into laughter? That just sealed the deal for me. Aurora was of course sunshine on the outside, but she did have her past to contend with and this was about her reconnecting with what she left behind. Did I mention that there is an age gap and that Rhodes is a single dad?
