Before he was Big Texas, he was Zac the Snack Pack.
Bianca Brannen knows time—mostly—heals all wounds. Including those your once loved ones might have unintentionally given you. (Those just take longer.)
She thinks she’s ready when a call has her walking back into her old friend’s life. Or at least as prepared as possible to see the starting quarterback in the National Football Organization. Before the lights, the fans, and the millions, he’d been a skinny kid with a heart of gold.
Waltzing out of Zac Travis’s life should be easy. Just as easy as he walked out of hers.
Review: Mariana Zapata brought me to my knees with The Wall of Winnipeg and Me earlier this year and now she’s done it again with Hands Down! I absolutely loved Zac in Winnipeg so it’s no surprise I loved this book. Prepare yourself for another super slow burn, only this one is a friends-to-lovers. If you love yourself a Texan with the kindest of hearts and a drawl slow enough to make you melt, pick this one up! Every time he says darlin’ my heart explodes. Bianca is a total go-getter with a no-bullshit attitude and the smartest mouth. She’s still working at a job she despises while trying to get the business she started back on track. Her and Zac have the best bond, even if it’s been ten years since she’s seen her favourite Snack Pack. So yeah, safe to say I’m obsessed…
Did I mention the Vanessa and Aiden cameos? If you haven’t read Winnipeg, go do that!
