From the USA Today bestselling author of The Friend Zone comes an adorable and fresh romantic comedy about one trouble-making dog who brings together two perfect strangers.

Two years after losing her fiancé, Sloan Monroe still can’t seem to get her life back on track. But one trouble-making pup with a “take me home” look in his eyes is about to change everything. With her new pet by her side, Sloan finally starts to feel more like herself. Then, after weeks of unanswered texts, Tucker’s owner reaches out. He’s a musician on tour in Australia. And bottom line: He wants Tucker back.

Well, Sloan’s not about to give up her dog without a fight. But what if this Jason guy really loves Tucker? As their flirty texts turn into long calls, Sloan can’t deny a connection. Jason is hot and nice and funny. There’s no telling what could happen when they meet in person. The question is: With his music career on the rise, how long will Jason really stick around? And is it possible for Sloan to survive another heartbreak?

divider_line (1)Review: After reading The Friend Zone and screaming at everyone to read it last year, you bet I’m going to be the hype girl for Sloan and Jason’s story, too! It was the best kind of emotional gut punch, which is exactly how I felt while reading The Friend Zone. I was so happy that Abby Jimenez recaptured that perfect balance of angst and humour and I seriously just need more of her sharp writing.

Plus, I love the heck out of the characters and the fact that this one brings two strangers together with a dog is just perfect. Can we just get all romance books to have cute animals from now on? I also loved how this was an interactive reading experience with song titles at the beginning of each chapter that built a complete playlist by the end! There were also a few songs in there that were already faves of mine, so what’s not to love?!

I honestly can’t wait for whatever Abby Jimenez cooks up next! Basically, I know I’ll love it because I am completely obsessed with her first two books!
