Release Date: June 28, 2017

I can’t believe how long I waited to watch this! I’ve heard some mixed reviews about it, but I thought it was amazing. Ansel Elgort played his part perfectly, giving just the right amount of dialogue to be entertaining, but not so much as to take away from the edge and mystery of his character. His character was serious, yet delivered his lines in ways that had me laughing.

The soundtrack was perfectly in time with the movie as well. Baby had a song for every moment in his life and an iPod for each mood. The tempo of the songs really helped build the suspense and kept the plot from turning boring. Personally, I think the music made the movie.

Baby’s driving skills were also incredible and there is endless action sequences, explosions, shootouts, and even cold-blooded murder. It’s been a while since I’ve seen an action movie this great! There was also a cute romance subplot between Baby and a waitress, which was a nice distraction from how horrible his life is. It was nice to see him connect with someone who wasn’t a baddie and it help balance out the plot really well.

Overall, amazing movie all around and I think it was super underrated and more people should be watching it!
